Duchy plans take centre stage

On the visit William opened a new wing at St Mary’s hospital and highlighted Duchy-backed housing and care projects. He posted about a housing scheme at Nansledan creating 24 low-carbon homes to tackle homelessness in partnership with St Petrocs, the Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme and the Duke of Cornwall’s Charitable Foundation. Reports also suggest he may sell around 20% of estate land over the next decade to fund housing and environmental initiatives.

Football, pop and a personal invite

William joked about celebrating Aston Villa’s big win in Istanbul and played Raye’s song "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!," noting it’s one of Kate’s favourites. He personally invited the show hosts to the islands for the special broadcast and praised local NHS staff and essential-worker housing efforts.
