A family home with deep roots

The 37-year-old Grammy winner showed PEOPLE an immersive Zillow listing of the pink bungalow her family has owned for about a century. Ancestors settled the land around 1909 and built a farmhouse that later burned in 2014; Musgraves purchased the smaller dwelling beside it, keeping the property in the family and even painting it pink to honor her late grandmother. A giant Texas flag on the front-porch ceiling and other heirlooms make the place feel almost sacred to her.
